Community Outreach

Network for Hope is a nonprofit organ procurement organization. We facilitate and encourage the donation of human organs and tissues for transplantation.

Donate Life Kentucky Trust is a nonprofit organization supporting organ, tissue, and eye donation in Kentucky, funded by dollar donations at driver’s license offices, philanthropic gifts, and volunteer efforts.

A main part of our Ambassador program is us being a part of community events and educating the public on the importance of donation. This may look you participating in:

• Education Tables: Oftentimes, we have the opportunity to have a table set up at a community event. As people come up to our table, Ambassadors engage with them and ask if they are a registered organ, tissue, and eye donor. They then direct people to our brochures for further information and/or to consider registration and count how many people come to the table for our data-keeping needs. This is our most popular opportunity that we have available.
• Street Team: Our Street Team is an extension of an Education Table. At larger events, such as sporting or music venues, people are there to be entertained, therefore going mobile is critical for engaging this audience. The goal of Street Team is to help individuals sign up to be a donor on the spot by walking throughout crowds with iPads.
